Dubuque Concrete Company was founded in 2025 by a team of concrete professionals who grew up working in the Mississippi River region and knew exactly what Iowa winters do to concrete that is not built right. We are based right here in Dubuque - not a franchise, not a call center in another state. When you call us, you talk to someone who has driven the bluff streets and worked on properties from Cable Car Square to the west side neighborhoods.

Dubuque has a housing stock unlike almost anywhere else in Iowa. A large share of the homes here were built before 1960, many of them sitting on hillside lots with steep slopes and clay-heavy soil that makes drainage a constant concern. We started this company because we saw too many homeowners getting burned by contractors who treated every city the same - same depth, same base prep, same drainage plan - without accounting for what Dubuque's freeze-thaw cycles actually do to concrete over time.

We do 16 types of concrete work, from standard driveways and patios to foundation installation and concrete cutting. We serve 12 cities across Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Every project gets the same approach: a real on-site estimate, a written proposal, work done to code, and a walkthrough at the end. No pressure. No surprises.
